Having a volunteering experience is not only good from the moral point of view but also holds a great deal of importance on your resume. It isobserved that around 82% hiring managers give preference to the candidate that bears a past volunteering experience than the ones who don't.

FUEL (Friends Union For Energizing Lives ) is always looking for passionate volunteers who want to give something back to their school ,college ,institute. Our "School Challie Campaign '' aims at arranging a career guidance program to be conducted by the volunteers for his/her school and college.

Mentoring

Becoming a FUEL mentor is your chance to inspire young students and help them reach their utmost potential. This role involves you guiding them through the early stages of their career and helping them figure out various options available to them according to their liking and strength. Mentors usually support the students with their studies while giving them advice and suggestions based on their real life experiences.

This role will enable you to develop your own coaching skills and spot future talent.

Workplace visits and workshops

Workplace visits are an important part of our program and can have a positive and deeper impact on our students. Listening to their experience and interpretation of a day-to-day environment can be very insightful for you too. As this is their first experience of visiting a work environment, learning about their experience is often interesting.

Masterclasses

Masterclass involves conducting sessions with the students in their own schools and classes. This particular opportunity enables you to meet students in their schools and talk to them directly about your experience and expertise. It is conducted either once a year, once a month or weekly depending on your preference.

Masterclass allows you to truly have students’ attention and get them to learn about new things and information about various subjects.

FUEL is looking for volunteers who can help in developing technology support by developing websites & a comprehensive career portal wherein students will be exposed to all possible career options on one click.

Volunteers can contribute towards technology for enhancing current portal of FUEL Portals.

CV Clinics aims at guiding students on preparing presentable CV with required details. Mock interviews include preparing students for interviews with a detailed interview process with 3 mock interview sessions.

It includes 360 degree support to students in terms of CV preparation and interviews.FUEL is conducting Best Resume & LinkedIn competition under which students are submitting their resumes & LinkedIn profiles and FUEL wants to mentor them one on one basis to make each students’ resume & LinkedIn profile perfect & approachable.
